JMCB Editor

Since August 2016, I have been one of the four main Editors for the Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking.

Professional Biography

Broadly, my main research interests lie in quantitative macroeconomic theory; more precisely, in macroeconomics, the intersection of macroeconomics and labor economics, optimal fiscal policy, and optimal monetary policy.  Prior to joining the Department of Economics at The Ohio State University in August 2016 as an Associate (tenured) Professor, I was a faculty member in the Department of Economics at Boston College from January 2012 --- July 2016 and a faculty member in the Department of Economics at the University of Maryland (College Park) from August 2007 --- December 2011.  Before my position at UMD, I spent three years as a staff economist at the Federal Reseve Board.  I received my Ph.D. in 2004 from the University of Pennsylvania.
